Vision of Colors

Première of the video installation by Jakob Jenzer and Hugo Sigrist with live music - «Planetary plays Benares».

Wednesday, 16 September 2009, 9.30 to 10.30 p.m., in Konzepthalle 6, Selve, Thun. Admission is free. Further performances (without live music) on 17, 18 and 19 September, at 8.30 p.m.

In December 2008, artist Jakob Jenzer and film-maker Hugo Sigrist spent some time on the banks of the River Ganges in Varanasi (India).
The images of the east in the eyes of the west, the images of the artist in the images of the film-maker, the sounds of the rickshaws, the slowness of the River Ganges, the atmospheres, the cows, the prayers and mourners, the east in the west, and the west in the east.
